I decided to embed this video on my blog on behalf of my
23 Things efforts. It is not made by me, but it is one of my YouTube favorites. It is available for download on
YouTube and on the
Stanford Cyberlaw website. The video was created by Professor Eric Faden of Bucknell University as a means to humorously review Copyright Law and Fair Use principles. These principles are delivered (ironically enough) through the use of Disney imagery. This fair and apt summation of copyright principles is worth a few minutes of your time, particularly since it must have taken many, many hours to piece together!

Making your own street sign couldn’t be simpler than when you use
EasyStreet. It takes a mere few minutes to create and upload profound street names such as:

You never know, this alliterative street name could catch on…

Lifelong learning is quite key for a librarian, and, to this end, the PLCMC Library 2.0 program
23 Things and the
Library 2.1 program that adds additional things are highly useful. I’ve actually done quite a few of the these things, but I want to discuss my experience with some of them as well as to post the end products (for the “things” that have end products at least) on this blog.
I’ll be labeling these posts in the category Web 2.0 to make them easily accessible, but I’ll also be adding some of my own “things” to this category. So you might just want to surf on over and check out the programs for yourselves…
